The GMG Pavilion at Gulfood Dubai was conceived as a forest of abstract palm trees, creating an immersive landscape inspired by the region’s natural and cultural identity. Developed collaboratively with the American University in Dubai (AUD), the design explored the expressive potential of tensile fabrics to produce lightweight, flowing forms that evoke palm canopies while shaping shade, movement, and an engaging visitor experience.
